American University I am a student

Work & Travel USA (Work & Travel USA) is a program created by the U.S. Department of State that has as its main objective the cultural exchange between university students of different nationalities, residents and tourists of the United States.

The program is carried out through a paid job offer within the tourism and hotel industry during the winter season (Winter), university students will be able to practice their language skills while living a multicultural exchange experience, making new friends and gaining work experience with an American employer.

Each country has specific dates for the program. The authorized dates for Costa Rican students are December 1st to 20th and March 15th to 31st. The minimum time required to participate in the program is 11 weeks with a maximum of 17 weeks.

The organizations are known as SPONSORS and are dedicated to the development, coordination and supervision of the different cultural exchange programs under the J1 visa including the Work & Travel USA program. Our Sponsors are:
