During the course we will have a strict protocol to minimize the possibility of contagion with SARS-CoV-2. Likewise, all the guidelines established by the authorities are being applied in our biological stations, and substantial improvements have been made in the facilities to allow the application of these guidelines.

The general program of this course includes stays at sites chosen for their diversity of climate, flora and fauna. At each site, there are reconnaissance walks and research projects, some of which are group projects led by guest professors and others are individual research projects. In addition there are activities and workshops in writing, statistics, social research, science communication, collaboration with conservation organizations and more. In the evenings there are lectures, working sessions and discussions, and reports and proposals are prepared.

In all projects, emphasis will be given to the theoretical conception of the problem, quantitative analysis of the data and its ecological interpretation and will be supported by a group of professors, computers, laboratories, equipment and access to bibliography.
