Anupam Sen (August 5, 1940) is a Bangladeshi academic and social scientist. He currently holds the position of Vice Chancellor at Chittagong Premier University.[2] He was awarded the Ekushey Padak in 2014 by the Governor of Bangladesh.[3] He was born in the city of Chittagong on August 5, 1940.

Sen was born on August 5, 1940 in the city of Chittagong in Bangladesh. He was born in a village in Boalkhali called Dholghat, which was part of Patiya Upazila. His father was Birendrolal Sen, a lawyer, and his mother Sneholota Sen. He completed his graduation and post graduation in English literature during English rule.

Although Sen was born in Chittagong, he started his education in Dholghat village. He continued his education at Dholghat English School up to the second grade.[4] In 1947, he was admitted to Chittagong College for the third grade.[4] Due to the sectarian violence present in Chittagong, his mother sent him and his sister to live with his maternal uncle in 1950. He was admitted to St. Cathedral Missionary College and continued his studies. When the situation in Chittagong stabilized, he returned to the city and was admitted to Chittagong Municipal Model College. At this school he passed matriculation in 1956.[4] He was admitted to the Chittagong Municipal Model College.

Hence, the practitioners of the Indian Board of Alternative Medicines can practice the alternative system of medicines without any interference from the above mentioned respondents.

– The Registrar of Medical Council of India (MCI) is not bound to practice alternative systems of medicines as per its letter No. MCI-34 (1) / 96-Med. / 10984, addressed to the Indian Council of Alternative Medicines.
