The degree in Biotechnology aims to train professionals with the conceptual, manual and technical knowledge to be able to understand and manage the transformation processes of living beings from a molecular and cellular point of view. On this conceptual and technical basis, future professionals will be able to improve and develop industrial processes that use the transformations carried out by living beings in isolated systems or in their cellular or tissue environments, with the consequent development of their applications in different areas: chemistry, agriculture, bioremediation, health… Their training will also enable them to verify the biosafety, registration and administrative authorization of biotechnological products.
