Boston (EE.UU.: /ˈbɔːstən/, Reino Unido: /ˈbɒstən/),[4] oficialmente la ciudad de Boston, es la capital y la ciudad más poblada de la Commonwealth de Massachusetts en Estados Unidos y la 24ª ciudad más poblada del país. [5] La ciudad propiamente dicha tiene una extensión de 125 km2 (48,4 millas cuadradas)[6] y una población de 675.647 habitantes en 2020,[7] lo que la convierte también en la ciudad más poblada de Nueva Inglaterra[8] Es la sede del condado de Suffolk (aunque el gobierno del condado se disolvió el 1 de julio de 1999).
