El excelente resultado en el QS World University Rankings 2023 fue influenciado principalmente por la pequeña proporción de estudiantes por instructor académico de UCT Praga. El apoyo individual a la educación y la implicación inherente de los estudiantes en el proceso de investigación hicieron que la UCT obtuviera el 29º puesto en el mundo y el primero en Chequia en este aspecto del proceso de evaluación del sistema de rankings.

El entorno internacional de la universidad, con un elevado número de estudiantes (para los estándares checos) procedentes del extranjero en los últimos años, contribuyó a la buena clasificación. La universidad también ha atraído recientemente a académicos internacionales que han vinculado su carrera a la UCT de Praga. Tras el año pasado, muy afectado por la situación de la pandemia, estos indicadores han vuelto a aumentar. En el resultado global, esto significa que la UCT de Praga ocupa el puesto 230 en este criterio.

BEST (Board of European Students of Technology) is a non-governmental, non-political and non-profit student association. BEST is made up of some 3,800 volunteers who are members of local BEST groups in 95 universities of technology in 33 countries.

BEST strives to foster diversity by developing technology students through complementary education,[1] vocational training support and participation in the European education system. By providing opportunities for students to meet and learn from each other through academic and non-academic events and educational symposia, BEST promotes the development of a more international and non-judgmental awareness and encourages European mobility, intercultural relations and communication.

The aim of BEST’s Educational Involvement Department is both to raise students’ awareness and involvement in educational issues, and to collect their input and disseminate it to those interested in higher education.
